This property is away from neighbors and yet only a three minute drive or a 15 minute lovely walk along a paved country lane through the jungle to the soft sands of Moloaa Bay Beach pictured here.


 

Still secluded, and very scenic, Moloaa Bay Beach is wonderful for swimming, snorkeling, and enchanting photos. Hollywood captured Moloaa Bay Beach’s lovely crescent shape in the pilot of Gilligan’s island.

 

GARDEN HIGHLIGHTS


This special property is surrounded by acres of privately owned Kauai jungle which includes an enormous clump of Giant Bamboo where over 100 birds come to nest in its canopy every night. 
The trees:  Spectacular Mango Trees planted by Hawaiians about 300 years ago!  Giant Bamboo – some of the largest around! Mountain Apple, citrus, avocado, papaya, banana, breadfruit, tameron, noni, and more. 
Flowers:  Include plumeria, red and yellow hibiscus, blue and white ginger, haleconia and other tropical beauties such as aloe vera and traditional hawaiian tee.  

There is lots of open grassy space to play bad mitten, soccer, or football.  There is plenty of room to set up tables and chairs outside, have a campfire at night, or pitch a tent for the teens.

Less than 5 minutes - The best fruit stand on the island,  Moloaa Sunrise Fruitstand serves gourmet Kauai coffee, fresh tropical smoothies, healthy sandwhiches, snacks, etc. This scrumptious oasis is located on your way out to explore the rest of the island. 5 Beaches! Moloaa Bay Beach, Pilaa, Larsen’s Beach, Papaa, and Anahola Beach all face East so you can welcome the sunrise.

10 minutes or less - 6 more beaches!  Waiakalua Beach, Secret Beach, Anini Beach, Donkey Beach, Kealia Beach, and Kalihiwai Beach which also has a river shown below.

Kealia Beach is ideal for boogie boarding and surfing.  There are lifeguard towers and usually ride-able waves. Also nearby you can go horseback riding, Ziplining, Kayaking and hiking.

The Kilauea Lighthouse, is a scenic National Wildlife Refuge and bird sanctuary marking the Northern most point of the main Hawaiian Islands. Baby albatross and other birds begin life here. Helicopter rides are available at the Princeville Airport to see the Napali Coast.
